Welcome to my "ME" page. My husband of 28 years and I live in a small town outside Akron, Ohio. We share our home with 3 retired racing Greyhounds, a tri female Sheltie, a new sable Sheltie boy and 3 cats. :) I am a self-taught painter. I love to craft, paint different dog breeds and collect primitive and handmade items. I love painting Greyhounds and Shelties most of all. I am a BIG supporter of Holistic Veterinary Medicine and have seen remarkable improvement in the health of my dogs and cats and I have taken classes in Healing Touch for Animals and Craniosacral for Animals.

I paint one-of-a-kind pieces. I do not mass produce my art! Items I paint on are purchased either unfinished, (like most of the wood products I paint), "gently worn" or "like new" thrift store, or flea market finds like denim coats, vests, purses and wood items. I also paint , in oils, on stretched canvas. I prefer to paint head studies, but am working on whole body studies. I paint mostly Greyhounds and Shelties, but have an interest in other breeds like corgis, salukis and whippets.
I'm always open for requests for painting Greyhound or Sheltie items that I can list for you on eBay.
Opinions and suggestions, both good and bad, about my art are always Welcome! :) Thank You!
