Who Is Sherry Lee

My full married name is Sherry Lee Price. I was born and raised in Bend Oregon and have lived here most of my life, with the exception of living in Hawaii for about two years where I experienced some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Oregon too has a lot of beautiful scenery which has contributed to my love of art. With the Cascade Mountains running through my back yard, I can't help but be awed by the spectacle mother nature has given us. My recent travels of Europe through Paris, France and Tuscany, Italy with my daughter has been quite an inspiration for my artistic side as this is a very inspiring part of the world. I have been painting for most of my life, and since my introduction to Ebay my works are now being collected by art enthusiasts internationally as well as throughout the U.S. I am an accomplished and recently published artist. All of my original works are hand painted and I sign each and every one to ensure authenticity for my buyers.

From my earliest childhood days I can remember involing myself with my artistic abilities. I was involved in the arts during my high school and junior high years, even being featured on the front page of the local newspaper in recognition of my artistic talents. Later I ran my own faux painting business doing work for local businesses and corporations painting large murals and installing faux treatments for walls in these businesses and high end homes. I have been creating art for many years and it seems that artistic talent is not only cultivated throughout the years but is genetically passed from one generation to the next. I consider myself very fortunate to have been gifted with this ability and have nutured that talent to become an accomplished artist. It is my sincerest hope that by bringing my art to the eBay market place that many more individuals will have a chance to share in the joy of having an original work of art in their homes.

I do all my own work and don't involve anyone else in the creative process. And of course I use nothing but the highest quality oil paints and gallery wrapped canvases. It has become common knowlege that much of the art on eBay is being produced by foreign assembly line artists. You have to ask yourself if there will be any value for that kind of art down the road. The value of art is determined by the skill of the artist along with the following that the artist has attained throughout their life. But time has shown that value is also determined by the fact that the work of art is not only beautiful, but original and created by the talents of one person. So even though you may be able to find a copy of an original work done by another artist or group of artists, those copies will never attain an increasing value. In the final analysis, if you are buying art for more than the pretty picture, then you must consider the source of that work.
