WELCOME TO THE SHIPPING PRINCESS



Hi There!  My husband Walter and I have been in the antique business for about the past 8 years.  We kind of feel into this part time hobby.  My husband had newly arrived in the United States from Vienna Austria.  We had a hard time finding work for him as an upholster.  He had 40+ years experience and no work.  We bought some old antique furniture-he striped and reupholstered maintaining the beauty of the piece.  We signed up for an outside antique show in Utica, Michigan and the rest is history.  He got work and we got a new hobby which we love.

We are currently members of the Blue Water Antique Dealers Association.  I have the positon of treasurer and chairperson of the two antique shows we host each year.  If you are in the area - they are held Spring April 1 & 2, 2006 and Fall- the first week of November.  A great little show  of about 50+ dealers. 

We currently have a space in the new Antique Mall Of St. Clair in St. Clair, Michigan and we do shows during the summer and Ebay of course during the winter months.   We deal mostly in furniture, vintage clocks, and glassware  and miscellaneous.  Bookmark my site for new and unusual finds - some even from Austria when we go back and visit the relatives.  Thanks for taking a look!    Kathy & Walter Gleissner

 

Please take a look at my latest items up for bid.  As always I do combine shipping costs on all my auctions and never and handling charge.  I also try and keep my shipping cost down-I HATE  paying some of those huge shipping costs when I am bidding.
