Hi,
The ships part comes from my time in the Navy in the late 60's. Feel free to stop by our website at www.usssylvania.org . No I'm not retired Navy although I sometimes wish I would have stayed in, but then I wouldn't have met my wife if I would have. She always reminds me of that you know. But I did enjoy being “haze gray and underway”.
The trains part is pretty much self-explanatory. I've had the hobby for a few years now and have just started to actively get back into it. Collecting mostly. I had put it on the back burner to pursue other interests a while back, but decided to get it going again recently.
Although I have been Ebaying since January 02 I decided to add another user ID to more reflect my passion and hobby (ships and trains). My hobby of modeling is turning into a hobby of collecting now. I am an avid collector of Micro-Trains items and have grown a rather extensive collection of my own. I am not adverse to purchasing large lots to get what I want and then selling off the rest.
I don’t try to have the most items for sale at the cheapest prices. I don’t have a confusing pricing structure, nor an inflated shipping fee. I also don’t throw in a lot of confusing info in the listing, since it’s assumed that you know what you are looking for in the first place. What you will find is a large picture, the basic and general info, my grading whether it is brand new, mint or a used runner, etc., and the current high auction from the collector guides for your guidance. You can always email me for more pictures or if you have any questions.
SINCE I’M CONTINUALLY ALTERNATING RUNNING SALES IN ALL THE MICRO-TRAINS CATAGORIES (7 days-starting Fridays at 6 AM and ending Fridays at 6 PM) IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO PURCHASE AT THE PRESENT TIME JUST TAG IT IN YOUR WATCH LIST AND WAIT FOR THE SALE. REALLY SIMPLE!
