Back to previous page  Crazy for Collectibles Garfield Jester (still looking for more of these) found two a couple of months ago at an auction. I started my love for collectibles, when I was a child, visiting my realatives homes.  Especially my Grandparents.  My mother introduced me to visiting antique stores.  When I had my own place and on my own income I started going to Thrift Stores and Garage sales.  It's years later married with teenagers and still love to shop at Thrift Stores, Yard Sales, Estate Sales and Auctions.  Some of my favorite shows to watch are Antiques Road Show, Cash in the Attic, and Bargain Hunt.  It's so exciting to see an item you have, featured on T.V.   I often buy things I don't know the value or have a clue as to what it is,  I get it anyway because I know it's worth something. It's in my blood. There is so much to learn about collecting, I learn something new every week.     Happy Hunting.
