Dave Millwater is a Registered Master Farrier and lifelong horseman whose articles on hoofcare and horsemanship have been published in Equus, Western Horseman, The Western Horse, HorseWorld USA, The Paint Horse Journal, ANVIL, and other national magazines. He was the Farrier Adviser to HorsePlay Magazine, the CompuServe Horses Forum Farrier Section SysOp, and wrote the Behind the Anvil/Under the Horse column for American Pioneer Equine News.
Millwater has been an officer, board member, or committee member in three national farrier organizations as well as the Southeastern Horseshoers On Education, participated in many clinics, national conventions, and international symposiums, and been honored with a number of regional and national recognitions, including the 2001 Burney Chapman Master Farrier Award.
