If It's Not Nailed Down

I have been buying and selling on eBay for several years. I work at home so I have decided to try to build an eBay store!! I am completely computer illiterate so this should be an interesting process!! Since I am a shopaholic obviously I have purchased many items I do not need, so I am selling both new and used items from around my home currently. I love sewing and photography and it is my hope that I can sell my own creations soon, but for now if it's not nailed down, I am selling it!! **My Shipping & Payment Policies**

As you are all aware, there are some changes being made by eBay in regards to shipping and payment polices. If I understand things correctly, we have to display a correct shipping amount in all of our ads, which in my case will mean using eBay's shipping calculator. However, I never have nor will I add any package and handling costs to my shipping amount. I will enter into the eBay shipping calculator the exact weight and size of the package and it will give you the same price as it should be when I take it to the post office to mail.

Also, I have to change my Payment options to acceptable eBay options including:

* Direct credit or debit card payment via a merchant credit card account

* PayPal

* ProPay

* Payment on pick-up

These changes will take effect in October 2008. I look forward to doing business with the wonderful community of eBay. It has been really fun for me so far!
