Shoreline Music was the world's first online music store--we're even older than eBay, where you're reading this description. Our dedicated eBay store focuses on our broad line of guitar and music accessories, including guitar strings, tuners, cables, headphones, capos, and more.

Shoreline Music eBay FAQ
Greetings, and thanks for visiting our FAQ. Shoreline Music was the world's first online music store. Before Musician's Friend, before Amazon—even before eBay—there was Shoreline. For more than a decade we have been the small shop with a big impact, introducing cool new guitars and other gear long before they were mainstream. In spite of our small size, we ship over 40,000 orders a year, and 99% of these ship within 1 business day, so we know how to get you your gear with a minimum of hassle.
If you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to contact us:
• I'm ordering from overseas. Will you lower the invoice price, or mark the product as a Gift, so I can save money on taxes and customs duties?
It is illegal for us to misrepresent the nature or value of the goods we ship overseas. All requests to do this will be ignored.
• Your listing only makes one product available. How do I order more than one?
Our standard Fixed Price/Buy It Now listings only offer one unit of any product (it costs more to list multiples). However, these listings are identical to our eBay store listings of those same products, and the eBay store listings typically show lots of units in inventory (since it doesn't cost anything extra to list multiple units in the store). So, if you want more than one of something, your best bet is to purchase it from our static eBay store listing. You can do this by visiting the store (follow the link above), follow the navigation on the left, and look for the listing with no ending date. That's the one with several pieces available. Or, you can always just use eBay's Request an Invoice feature.
• Do you combine shipping?
Yes, but this feature is not always built into our listings. Your best bet to combine shipping for different products is to use eBay's Request an Invoice feature.
• Do you ship to my country (Australia, Croatia, Brazil, Korea, Israel, etc)?
Yes. We ship worldwide (with one or two product exceptions). If you don't see your country on eBay's pop-up menu, just choose a nearby country. Shipping costs are detailed in all our listings.
• What is your return policy?
You can read the details of our return policy on our regular website here.
• Is the product you're listing new?
Yes. Everything we sell on eBay is new and unopened, and ships with the complete retail packaging including full manufacturer's warranty.
• Can I pay with Money Order?
No. Sorry about that. The main reason for this is that we have no control over the transit time of payments mailed to us. While they typically arrive in a timely fashion, some do not, and this results in negative feedback for us.
• When will my order ship?
eBay generates order reports every day at midnight. We download them the following morning (or on Mondays for weekend orders). This means that your order will ship within one business day of your completed payment. We send personal shipping confirmations within one day of shipment.
• How will my order ship?
Domestic orders: First Class Mail (3-6 days) or Priority Mail (2-4 days)
All international other than Canada: Express Mail International (about 1 week)
Canada: First Class International (7-10 days) or Express Mail International (4-6 days). CANADIAN BUYERS, PLEASE NOTE: The official delivery time to Canada is about a week or so, but Canadian Customs regularly adds TWO TO FOUR WEEKS to First Class International shipments. It is actually faster for us to ship to India or Australia than to ship to Canada, all because of the holdups in Canadian Customs. Please consider this before choosing how you'd like your package shipped.
• How can I track my package?
Domestic packages are only quasi-trackable. We use standard USPS Delivery Confirmation, and the Post Office does not do origin scans—only destination scans. This means that your tracking number may show "Electronic Info Received" until the moment it is delivered into your hands.
The USPS only tracks Express and Priority packages outside the country. Anything shipped by First Class International will be untrackable.
