Shorepine Dolls and Collectibles
Shorepine Dolls and Collectibles is a joint effort by my wife, Dolly, and me, Pete (shorepine). Dolly's been making, restoring, and collecting dolls for over 30 years. I handle most of the computer stuff. Together we go to doll shows, flea markets, estate sales, and antique shops looking for interesting items. She almost always finds a couple of dolls worthy of collecting - sometimes they need a little TLC which she is more than ready to lavish on them, when she's not too busy making her own original creations. She's also got a gift for finding other great collectibles. Though I'm not much of a collector, I sometimes spot things, too, that look like they'd fit into other people collections. The treasures we find go into eBay Auctions or our eBay Store. Our business is very modest, and most of what we earn ends up paying for gas and new acquisitions, but it's something we enjoy doing together. And, we sincerely hope that our buyers derive as much enjoyment from the items they purchase, as we do from providing them. We are always glad to answer any questions or discuss any problems, and grateful for any suggestions.
