NM: like new copy.
EX: extra clean, light signs of use with faint hairlines, sleeve scuffs.
VG++: clean, well-maintained album with light use. light needle marks and/or scuffs.
VG+: clean, well-maintained album with moderate use. no major needle marks and/or scuffs.
VG: average use. more scratches, scuffs. still very enjoyable.
G: lots of use. still very serviceable with no major sound issues (and certainly no skips or jumps).
