A snapshot about me and Terra Photography

I was born and raised in New York State, lived in Vermont for four years in the early 80's. Hobbies include crafts, outdoor activities, the Arts, friends and family. I've always been interested in Photography as a hobby and am currently in the process of designing my own web site to showcase my photos. A huge animal and dog lover, I have a Siberian Husky at home who is my pride and joy (next to my 25 year old daughter, of course). Currently, I reside in the Capital District of New York State but hope to someday find a more rural location in Pennsylvania in order to relocate, get away from the rat race, and spend more time with my photography.

Before Ebay changed the way it calculates feedback ratings, I had a score of about 98.6%. I do not buy or sell that often on Ebay as some other members do, so, as a result of the new calculations, my feedback score fell a big 10% if not more. This to me is totally unfair. It seems Ebay is penalizing those of us who only patronize them here and there, and is rewarding those who have become Power Sellers or those who are constant customers, whether buying or selling. To me, this is a bit on the discriminatory side and may tend to make a seller hesitate to do business with me in the future. Using just the last 12 months of a person's activity on Ebay does not accurately represent the member's account history overall and I feel this does a great disservice not just to me but to all the other infrequent members as well.
