First ebay Sale!
|
Hi!
Well, since I almost live on ebay, figure may as well do an "about me" page too! Jokes have been made that there is a cot I sleep on right in ebay!
A few years ago, had an Antiques Store. Before it was put up for sale I removed 3 truck loads of inventory just for the purpose of eventually selling on ebay! My inventory is vast. If only there were 3 more of me to get it all listed but alas that takes time and patience. Always try to be as detailed in my listings as possible without turning it into a book! What a learning experience!
Have met some really great folks so far and have learned so much! And just keep on learning! Thanks go out to the fellow sellers I have contacted for advice!!! You have all been very kind and more than willing to share your knowledge with this "newbie"!! You're Great! Looking forward to my turn to help as well!! There's room here for us all.
Truly believe in The Golden Rule and always do my best to extend that to each and every ebayer I come in contact with! Customer service has always been top priority in everything I have been involved with and ebay folks are no exception!
It's great to be here and looking forward to years of success in bringing a wide variety of goodies to folks of all walks of life!!!
Smiles to all!!!

On a personal note:
Life has been pretty neat for me! There was a time when I was homeless.
A time when I was addicted to meth and would do about any drug that came available to me. I have been clean and sober for years now and can't even imagine living that life ever again. Sobriety and Life are my passion!
Now, aside from ebay, I work part time for a company that tests for drugs for various reasons. Everything from Pre-Employment to criminals. Some trying to clean up their lives and some just going through the motions until they "fall through the cracks" and are on their own away from the watchful eye of the law again.
It is a very rewarding job but can be sad at times. A precarious combination of thick skin and compassion is required. And absolutely worth it when a client walks in and says "HEY, I graduated my sobriety class"! Those are the moments that make it all worth it!
Since I am in my hometown it was inevitable that I would come in contact with some from my past life. It was a strange experience the first time I had to do my job in relation to someone I once bought drugs from! And sad that person is still existing in that world.
Life and all one can CHOOSE to do with it is so limitless and wonderful! A favorite quote that comes to mind: "It's never too late to be what you might have been." How very true.
Here's to sobriety. Here's to the folks who have conquered! And here's to the folks still in that struggle.
Thank our Spirit Father.
