Silent Creations is a Utah based
business specializing in quality props
and oddities.
Many
of our props are made and crafted by
hand. Always with an eye on
quality and detail, our motto is that we
will never sell you an item we would not
be proud to own ourselves. Whether
our items are made by us or not, it must
pass our personal "stamp of approval"
before we sell it.
Our
goal is to find that perfect blend
between style, fright, and fun and we
hope you will visit us often as we are
always working hard to add new and
exciting items to our growing list of

The word "ghoul" often conjures up images
of a dead creature dressed in tattered rags shambling through
and old graveyard. We were intrigued by the notion of a
well dressed ghoul stalking the late night streets of 18th
century London. |

 |
The ghostly bride has always been a
popular theme in horror, both in fiction and non-fiction. There have
been many reported "sightings" of ghosts or spirits wearing the flowing
white dress of a bride. Here we decided to create a prop That would
convey this theme. I think it was a success! |

We decided that our poor
Deathbride needed a groom! |

This
was one of our more unique corpse props as it was given
a layer of "rotted flesh" that was applied to the
initial molded prop. This was applied completely
by hand. Unfortunately, we had to discontinue this
particular prop due to damage to the mold.

Here we wanted a zombie that was more
reminiscent of
the old EC Comics than the Romero-style film versions we are used to seeing.

This was a variation of our popular Deathbride
prop using the Grave crawler. As you can see, the results were very
effective! |

Hangman
This was a less skeletal variation of our
"Grave Crawler" This was inspired somewhat by the hanging "ghost host" in
Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction. |

Potter's Field was a 7
minute short film created for the "Dare To Direct" held by the Chiller Channel
in 2007. The film short deals with a frightening encounter in a large
cornfield where rotted corpses were strung up like scarecrows by a
scarecrow-type creature. We created the two corpses as well as the mask
for the "monster." Although it was only 7 minutes long, the props were
very effective visually and we had a fun time creating them.

is complete, hair will be added and they will then be attached
to their body armatures. |
