The company is owned by Boyj Invest limited, founded in 1970 by the Danish jeweller B. Johansen, educated at F. Hingelberg Aarhus (1961-65) and at Copenhagen School of Art (1966-68). B. Johansen is generally recognized as one of few truly experts within modern Danish silver and has contributed to several publications within this subject.
