HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Welcome to our beautiful corner of the world! While the economy is improving here, a tiny bit, it seems, we still have drawers, and boxes, and sheds, and barns, and breezeways, and cubbyholes full of "stuff" that we will be offering at bargain prices. We have many great books to go through, and some things that have been put away for so long that it will seem like Christmas when we finally get them opened and organized. Well, maybe not organized. We appreciate our customers, and hope you check back with us often. AND, if you do find a treasure, and wish to leave less than 5 stars on that Dashboard thingy, PLEASE let us know so that we can correct whatever has made you unhappy with us. We want happy customers!

We found this Pledge in a 1947 Freedom Train Booklet, and loved it. It just about says it all.

Isn't that wonderful? I think we should all take the pledge!

Pearl, who turned 10 in October, still misses Gus, as we do, but she is revelling in being Only Dog. Unfortunately, for us, she recently proved that she does not want another dog, cat, bird, fish, or other critter around. It seems that the matter is not up for debate.
Pearl Says:"Hmmph. Puppy, indeed. Why would we need a puppy, when I make such a wonderful Only Dog?

And, Don't Forget Your Animals! They Will Never Let You Down! Give Them Lots Of Love & Cookies, Don't Leave Them Outside In The Cold, And Give Them Back The Loyalty That They Give To You.
