Simply Sapphires is a USA based owned and operated business that was formed by people who love and admire gemstones. To quote from a famous song, olks these days just don do nothing, simply for the love of it in our case we do. Here we try to answer some of the most common questions we receive. Are your stones natural? All of the stones in our inventory and on our site are natural. NOT one stone is man-made, lab created, or artificial. |

- Are the photos I see of the actual stone I'm interested in purchasing?
- Yes. We buy in small quantities, and the stone you see is the one you are purchasing. Sometimes it takes us 30+ photos to capture a stone as it appears naturally. We never substitute photos of similar stones!

- Do the stones comes with certificates of authenticity?
- No, unless specifically requested by and paid for by the customer. We buy only from a select group of dealers that there is no doubt where the stones origin was. Many of them mine and cut the stones themselves. The only real way of authenticating a stone is to have it certified by a qualifying body such as, The Gemstone Institute of America (GIA) or the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA). They physically test each stone to certify it is authentic; however, they charge between $80-150 per stone.
One of the reasons we chose to be members of the AGTA, is we strongly believe in their code of ethics which states that "Members shall not use laboratories to certify their stones and/or appraisers the supplier has a vested interest or where a conflict of interest exists".

- What if I don't like it once I receive it?
- Return it to us. We guarantee complete customer satisfaction with every purchase. If you order an item from us and are not completely satisfied, you may return your order within 10 days of receipt for any reason. Shipping and insurance fees are non refundable. Items returned must be in the same condition as sent. To return or exchange merchandise, please send it fully insured and properly packaged by USPS or Fedex with your instructions for exchange or refund. As we absorb the credit card fees on
returns, we think it is fair policy to ask the customer to pay shipping.
