Sarajane Helm is a professional designer who has been creating wearable art all of her adult life. Beginning as a costume designer and dollmaker, she has been working with polymer clay as her medium of choice for the last two decades. She instructs on the uses of polymer clay and offers other creative classes in beading, doll making and miniatures and textile arts. She has a featured column on the Business of Art in Belle Armoire Magazine and writes for magazines including Bead and Button, Jewelry Craft, and Lapidary Journal. She's the author of "Create A Polymer Clay Impression" and "Celebrations With Polymer Clay" through Krause Publications, and co-wrote "Adapting Quilt Patterns To Polymer Clay" with Judith Skinner. Her work is featured in several other books including "Creative Clay Jewelry", "Foundations In Polymer Clay Design", "The Best of Bead&Button:Polymer Pizzazz" and "Polymer Clay Creative Traditions".
