Our Listings: We try our hardest to provide accurate written descriptions. We provide high quality digital images to supplement the written description. We describe all damage, repair or unusual conditions we find for each item, however; we do not claim to be experts, so please bid accordingly. We gladly take back misdescribed items and provide a refund - see details of our return policy below. If you have questions about an item's description, please email us as early before the auction ends as possible.
Reserves: Some of our auctions have a reserve. We try to set very reasonable reserves such that it is much more likely that the competition from other bidders will be your main concern, not the reserve amount. We do not disclose our reserve amounts. Being the high bidder at the end of a reserve auction can be very meaningful as your interest in the item is noted.
Bidding in Our Auction: Please bid as early as possible to avoid missing the auction end due to a problem with your internet service provider or eBay itself. We occasionally hear from a bidder who "missed the bidding" due to last minute problems, but we unfortunately can offer nothing but sympathy for such "too-late" bidders. To avoid nasty surprises and override those last-minute "sniper" bidders, we suggest you simply enter once the very highest amount you are willing to go for an item. If you would be willing to pay one bid higher, you still have not entered your very greatest amount and that could lead to disappointment and lost opportunity. Remember, it is not the last bidder who prevails, but simply the highest bidder - so enter your highest bid well before the end of the bidding period.
The proxy bidding system built into eBay allows you to bid again on an item without bidding against yourself. If you have second thoughts and want to increase your maximum bid, do so with confidence that you will not be bidding against yourself. An increased bid just replaces the maximum proxy amount stored in the eBay computer, not your actual bid.
Please bid only if you intend to honor your bid. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with less than 10 feedback, negative feedback, hidden feedback, or if we have had problems in doing business with you previously. If such bids are entered "last minute", they also may not be honored. Also, if we are not notified of payment being sent or if we have not been paid for the item within the time frame specified within the auction, the item will be re-listed. We will also file a Non-Paying bidder alert and leave a Non-Paying bidder strike. 3 NPB strikes will result in the suspension of your account. We will also leave negative feedback when necessary. We will also only ship to verified addresses provided through the PayPal system, or the address appearing on the Money Order or Cashier's Check sent as payment.
Communications: We encourage good communications. Please ask any questions about the item or the terms and conditions before the auction closes.
After an auction closes, the successful high bidder will receive an eBay form invoice or, if there are special circumstances such as the purchase of multiple items, an email from us with billing information. If you have not received an email from us within 24 hours of the auction closing, please check to make sure that you have turned off your spam blocker or mail filter.Please review it and provide confirmation of its receipt by providing your name and address and shipping details as requested in our email.
Due to the large number of items we handle and our prompt shipping, we generally do not acknowledge receipt of payment and mailing of your item.
After receipt of an item, let us know you are pleased or if there is a problem to resolve.
Provide feedback to the eBay system after our transaction.
Payment: Payment is accepted by PayPal, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Western Union, in U.S. funds only. Those desiring to pay by credit card may use on-line payment services such as "PayPal.com" (U.S. bidders and most international bidders). We ship very promptly after receiving payment, usually the same or next day.
Packaging your item: Please look over our feedback and see how often "great packaging" is mentioned.
Our usual packing is as follows, with variations as appropriate to the particular item. Books are wrapped in plastic and shipped in brown paper via Media Mail. Other items are sent boxed, with peanut fillers and wrapped in bubble wrap. Speciality items are sent as suited. Care is taken to assure the address is correctly and clearly marked. "Fragile", "Do Not Bend", or other markings are applied. Boxes are taped securely; envelopes are tape sealed along all seams and over addresses.
Large items, such as furniture, are for LOCAL PICKUP Only, as stated in our auctions and may be picked up by you, or your agent at our residence.
Shipping Companies: We use the United States Postal Service (USPS).We offer USPS services, including Express Mail, and Priority Mail..
Shipping Costs: Shipping cost is the sum of postage and packaging costs, not just the cost of postage. It is our policy to try to disclose the cost of postage and packaging before the auction closes, so that the bidder knows what is to be expected in this regard. We use shipping calculator with almost all of our auctions. If you need an estimate of shipping costs before an auction closes, email us with your location, zip code if in U.S. and any other details on how you want to have the item delivered.
In all cases, we ship only after payment is received. No exceptions to that rule.
Postal Insurance: We encourage the purchase of postal insurance for two reasons:
(1) To provide compensation in the case of loss or damage. Despite its excellent service, USPS does incur incidents of loss or damage.
(2) To provide documentation that your package entered the mail system. .
If a buyer does not request and pay for postal insurance, we can not be held responsible for damage or loss, and will not be able to help in the reclaiming or damages/value. To be completely clear, If you do not purchase postal insurance we can not be of any assistance in tracking or finding an item after it has left our possession and entered the postal system. This also means that we will not be able to provide a refund on items that have entered the Postal System and become lost, misdirected or stolen.
International Shipment:We regularly ship items internationally. Payment may be sent by PayPal, or Western Union only. Cash is not accepted since it can and does get lost in the mails and too often results in troubled transactions. Stamps are not accepted. We encourage the bidding of international buyers, however, we reserve the right to cancel bids by international bidders with less than 10 feedback, negative feedback, or hidden feedback. International shipment will be done with Global Priority Mail. We no longer offer Surface Mail as an option due to its inordinate delay in arriving.
Feedback: We are always pleased to provide positive feedback for you in the eBay system. We do so only after we know a transaction is complete. We mail out many items each week and never hear about some of them, with the recipients probably wondering why we did not provide positive feedback. We cannot know a transaction is complete until we hear from you either by an email or by your leaving positive feedback for us. Returns/Refunds: We accept returns on items that were misdescribed. A returned item must be in the same condition as when received. If an item is not as described, we will accept its return and provide a full refund of its purchase price, not including the shipping costs. If an item is found to be as described, a refund will be made of the purchase price minus eBay auction costs (listing fees, final value fee, PayPal fees and any other applicable). All such matters must be resolved within 30 days of receipt of the item.
Note to Bidders: Ask all questions you may have before the auction closes. Follow all eBay Community Guidelines and other rules. Bid only on what you are willing to pay for promptly. Communicate with us after the auction ends by responding to our billing message. Provide your name and address and desired method of shipment after the auction so we may prepackage items. Send the correct amount in payment. Send payment so that it arrives within 7 days of the close of the auction. Let us know when an item has been received and if you are pleased so that we know the transaction is complete and we can provide feedback. Bring problems to our attention so we may have a proper chance to correct them. Provide feedback to the eBay system.

To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received.
Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
