Preserving Our Past Me and my Daughter Libby(the light of my life!!) I am in LOVE with our past! I worked as a nurse for 14 years and felt something was missing. One day my mom gave me an Edwardian purse and the rest is history.My husband and I began HOARDING vintage clothing and all the accessories that go with clothing. Well our basement was full, our garage was full. In fact we couldn't even park our cars in it! I had always wanted to own my own shop. So the time was right, I quit my nursing job and went into business. That was in 1993. Now here I am selling on Ebay.AHHHHH the life. To be surrounded with all the things you love! There is not a day that goes by that I regret my decision. I did find I am the toughest boss I ever worked for! lol Libby wearing a FAB vintage hat I bought on Ebay!! I opened my store front in 1993 like I said. It is called Timeless Treasures.We have built quite a FAB customer base. I am a fussy outfit and won't sell anything that is not in good vintage condition. We also sell to Hollywood for movies and TV. Our first movie was TITANIC. It was followed by SEABISCUIT, MONA LISA SMILE, HBO'S CARNIVALE, THAT 70's SHOW and lots more! We also set up and sell at The Midwest Vintage Clothing Show and Sale in Elgin, Illinois. I love to learn what I can about the items I sell.I always say, "I wish clothing could talk".What a story it could tell. Like what parties the item was worn to.
