Photography has always been part of my life, ever since I had access to my father Kodak Signet 35mm rangefinder camera as a child. I was born in Kodak hometown, Rochester, New York. I worked for Kodak before, during and after college, focusing on technical areas of photography and photographic processes.
Mastery of the technical component of the photographic craft is but one aspect of creative imaging. Developing one innate ability to see the beauty of everyday life is what motivates and guides my work. I especially enjoy exposing a unique viewpoint that might otherwise go unnoticed or unappreciated.
I want my images to provide the viewer with a moment of unbridled imagination in an all too literal and objective world. The goal of all my work is to resonate with the artist within each of us and let the light separate the darkness.

I began capturing family events and vacations at the age of eleven with a Kodak Instamatic 126 camera. Shortly after joining Eastman Kodak at age twenty, I purchased a 35mm SLR camera. The atmosphere at Eastman Kodak compelled me on to further capture life wonderful perfect moments around me.
I regret not having my camera with me at these perfect moments, like the time our friend small child was playing in a field of tall dried grass. The contrast of this young child in a bright red shirt, blue shorts, and white blonde hair made time literally stop for me. To this day, time slows when this vision reappears in my mind.
So this one moment in my life has given me the passion to share with others the perfect moments I have captured on film. I hope time will slow for you as it does for me while you gaze at the melodious visions created before you.
