Hi all! My favorite part about selling on Ebay is having the chance to eetso many of you gracious, talented people who are kind enough to consider my work. I know you have many options for purchasing beads and I incredibly honored when you choose me and share stories about the designs and projects you use the beads in. It fun to think of the life they lead when they leave ome!

Since a surprising number of you have told me you actually enjoy the quirky stories in my listing descriptions, I thought I share a little bit about me, just for fun.

Ie been lampworking for nearly four years. I took a class at our local rec center and fell in love it hypnotizing and relaxing! My husband and father-in-law have gone to great lengths to keep me set up with all of my torches and hoses and tanks and workbenches...  they set it up and maintain it and I just turn it on and go!

As youe probably noticed, I love experimenting with different materials, though I find I always seem to come back to round, earth-toned beads. I a big fan of enamels and frits and stringers and twisties... sort of all the frosting I can fit on the cake (also a fan of cake too, I afraid). I can spend hours in my studio just melting away. I usually make several batches of beads and then sit outside and watch the kids play while I clean them and match them into sets.

As I mention in my auctions, I live in Henderson (a suburb of Las Vegas) with my husband and two kids (and nine hamsters, one gerbil and one rat, two cats and a dog). Wee lived here since 1992, but wee originally from the Midwest, Ohio and Missouri. My husband works in the gaming business and I a full-time freelance writer. I primarily write business publications and guidebooks one day I love to do nothing but write young adult fiction and make beads. I actually have my first fiction manuscript complete: he Day My Wonky Eyeball Met Evil Barbie.I had it under consideration at one big NY publishing house for most of last year, but alas, fiction writing seems very much a ho you knowaspect of the publishing world. (Anyone out there have a brother whose neighbor sister-in-law gardener lives across the street from a publisher?) Maybe Il post the first chapter and you can let me know if you think I should keep pushing, or just stick to my guidebooks!
