My Ebay Business
I started at Ebay in January 2001 after my life took a difficult turn and I needed to find a new source of employment. My sister had listed on ebay for a long time and told me I should give it a try. I did - and haven't looked back!
< Smiley Faces and Crafts
I didnt' know what I should sell (like all the other new sellers on ebay!)- but had spent the past 6 months hunting smiley faces for my Grandmother to cheer her up after losing my grandfather in June 2000 after 70 years of marriage! She was the original smiley lady! I knew how hard it was to find smiley face items and thought it would be a fun item to shop for. I'd always enjoyed making simple crafts and started making smiley face crafts to give my customers more fun items for their collections. It has since expanded to include a large array of crafts for decorating - including butterflies, daisies, hearts and anything else I can think of. It's been a wonderful experience and allows me to be at home with my 13 year old son. I'm a divorced single Mom so this is very important to me. I also have 2 sons in the military - one in the army and one in the air force!! And 2 darling Grandsons!!
I've tried hard to do all the things I wished the sellers I bought from had done for me such as keeping me informed when payments were received and packages shipped. I want all my customers to be satisfied with my service so please feel free to tell me anything you think might be helpful to me to build a better business.
