snana with mr snana and the 3 snana boys
|
I have been asked many times, "what is a snana"..its easy, you see. My son ued to hand the phone to the grandbaby and say "it's nana"..before long, she changed nana to snana, and wala, a name was born!
Born and raised on the southwest coast of Florida, I raised three boys..yes had THREE boys in three years. I still have my sanity so something was working right. I was blessed a few years ago when my son married a girl with a one year old daughter, and last year they had a girl of their own. Our lives (my husband and I) center around that baby.
So how do I have so much to sell?? Well first, I "start" collections. Then realize my home has a finite amount of space..so let it go. Im not into clutter so I can only have so much at one time. I also buy a lot of "lots" on ebay. I have found it easier to buy a lot that has the ONE item I really want, then to keep trying for that one item over and over. Then, I need to sell all the stuff that came with it that I really did not want or need. I also can not resist a sale. I have an issue with leaving somehting on a shelf that I KNOW someone else would love to have. Ebay has been the perfect venue for me. If you chekc my feedback you will see I buy as much, if not more, than I sell. As long as I wind up even at the end of the month, I feel I have had a good month.
.....My favorites...Pottery barn, Gymboree/oshkosh, Victorias secret, Doc Martens (they are really taking over the closet)..and ANY linens. I also enjoy cooking and inventing new recipes...It has helped my long marriage lol...
On top of all of this I actually have a job as an assistant manager of a retail store. So, yes my plate is full.
Recently our youngest son who is 22 was diagnosed with epilipsy after three ~~ fall to the floor unconsciousness seizures. It has beena humbling experience for all of the family. The state took his license, but at the same time he wants to stay in his own house (he has experienced the independency of living alone and enjoys it lol) So in order for him to get back and forth to work, the grocery store and every other daily event we all take for granted, it has become a schedule involving allllll of us. Our calendar pages have times, dates, appointments of who will be doing what, with whom and where. He has no insurance so ebay is at this point a BLESSING to us. I am dealing with a couple of foundations right now, and plan on making them a part of my charitible donations on ebay sales once we have our own plan of action ...Please do not take this as a sympathy plea..we always find a way lol. It is more a venting..call it my blog.
