Meet the artist, Caroline Neff

About the Artist
Caroline's artistic talents were first recognized with a four year Art Scholarship award at a Private Art School in 1976, at the age of 13. Working closely as an apprentice in the Studio, she trained working with pastels, oils, acrylics and water colors. She later applied her artistry in creating porcelain dolls. She was a member of the Doll Artisan Guild, and attended Apprentice Seminars for the fundamentals and techniques of making reproductions of antique dolls. Several of her modern reproduction dolls won Blue ribbons in Doll shows here in New Jersey. After raising three “real” dolls of her own, she couldn’t resist the desire to make dolls again. This time, the decision was to put her artistic talent towards creating Reborn Berenguers as well as applying the "re-borning" techniques to the limited edition collectible artist dolls. The life-likeness achieved in this art is just so incredible and very hard to resist. After spending a lot of time researching the many different techniques, Caroline is now offering her babies for adoption. Many hours of labor go into the creation of one baby. Caroline will be putting her babies up for auction as they are reborn. Because of the time involved with the creation of each baby, you will not find a lot of babies in her nursery... These dolls are no longer toys. Each is a collectible one-of-a-kind work of art...a reborn baby... to capture your heart!

In Loving Memory of My Mother, Pearl

who passed away January 5th, 2004:
It has been four long years and it seems like only yesterday I was sitting at the table chatting with my Mom. The memory of our loved ones is always alive in our hearts.... I can feel that. Forever, My mother, my best friend, will always be the wind beneath my wings. She was a wonderful Grandmother, and a beautiful person. She was the kind of person that was happiest when she was helping others. She was always creating something artistic, either sewing or something crafty. Always donating her time and creations to help others. I have learned countless lessons of life and I owe many if not all, to my beloved Mom. She forever lives within my heart.
I dedicate this poem to my Mom...
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed weary eyelids and whispered, "peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home! If tears could build a stairway And memories were a lane, We would walk right up to heaven And bring you back again.
