 Well I'm not sure what to write, but I will start where I was  borned, I came from a small place in West virginia, a beautiful place ,West Virgina!,,, My father said, I came from about nine generations of quilters, He made quilt tops and Grandma also did ,and I remember Grandad quilting! so I was in the right place to learn, later about ten I went to live with a lady that was borned in 1894, and she did quilting and showed me as a young girl, Later in life, she came to live wilth me ,{ when her eyes began to fade},and she  taught me lots of things about quilting and piecing.I also oil painted, chochet, knitted,traveled,{ i had seen 23 countries by the time I was 30}, I liked to collect antiques, and work in my flowers. After my husband retired from the Air Force,in 1971,, I began collecting and selling qullts, I would go home to wva ,from Florida and rome over the hills and fine lots of beautiful tops and quilts, I sold a lot ,I had seven quilters at one time, My home always had people in it as I sold out of  my home, also I did a lot of craft shows, in Tn... Florida,  Alabama , and other places. all the time I was collectiing tops, I never sold them. My father make beautiful tops and I    brought off of him also, as he had retired from the coal mines and I told him," Dad I need some tops" and he loved to sew. Now he wasn't cheap!!!   ha,,,He was very particular of the fabrics that he picked out for his tops, going to more than  one shop before he made up his mind.I have a lot of his tops still.  He passed away in 1997. 

 In 1997 my two grandchildren came to live with me and my husband and all my crafts went on hold,and now that they are older ,I am selling again, my cabinets had over 200 tops, and I have about 25 quilts to sell. I still make tops and I like to quilt also.I an now 68 years old, and surely feel only sixteen!!! I hope I have given you a little insight of me. Thank you
