Ebay has made so many changes recently in the way that listings are created, it is too difficult to change every listing that I have running currently, which is over 400, to be consistent with each other.

Here are my shipping policies-

PLEASE NOTE: AS OF MAY 12, 2008 the shipping fees have increased, These are the new shipping fees.

Shipping to locations in the USA:1 to 5 buttons- the shipping cost is $2.50 via First Class USPS. For over 5 buttons, like groups of buttons, lots or sets, the cost depends on the weight, usually I can ship several sets for $2.50 to $3.50. For large orders $4.80 for Priority Mail is the most I ever charge for shipping. For International shipping: The cost is 1 to 5 buttons $3.00 via First Class International USPS, for more than 5 buttons or for larger amounts of buttons the shipping cost is by weight. If I have to ship Internationally in a box, the shipping is a bit higher. Please contact me for a quote. For extremely large orders shipping internationally, Express mail is available and in most cases the only way I can ship very large orders, contact me for a quote.

Please note, this is a general guideline. I sometimes do free shipping for large dollar items, Please contact me if you are unsure what the shipping cost will be for the item you are interested in purchasing

Please understand that I make every effort to keep shipping costs down. I have never, ever had any customer complain about my shipping fees. Ebay has decided that displaying the shipping fee in the top of the listing is the best way to communicate to the customer what the shipping fee is for that item. In Ebay's effort to force every Seller to do this, the form used to complete the listing regarding the shipping fees forces me to state shipping for the item the customer is viewing, and adding additional funds, for example: $2.50 for the first item and $ .25 (twenty five cents) for each additional item. I have kept this part of the listing to $ .10 (ten cents) for each additional item, in reality you can purchase up to 5 buttons for a flat fee of $2.50 for the shipping.

A note about the "age" of a button.

 I carry many old buttons as well as artisan buttons, studio buttons, handcrafted buttons etc. In my listings I will state the age of a button: Antique- about 100+ years old, Vintage- made before 1980, Old- is older than vintage but not sure if  the item is old enough to be antique. If there is no age designation- the button is new. The age of a button is determined by several things. Research is the most common way to determine age of a button. In reality, I was not there when all these buttons were made. So it is an educated guess as to the actual age of a button. I always guarantee everything I sell, for refund or exchange, if you are not satisfied. Please ask questions about the size or age of a button before you commit to buy if you are unsure about any of my lisitngs. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
