I've collected vintage clothing for years, as well as all the goodies that go with it...shoes, purses and jewelry, particularly those from the 30's - 50's. I just love deco and mid-century design in all things. Nothing can rival the quality of yesteryear, and that really applies to clothing. Sure, you can buy a cheaply made, overpriced knock-off from the mall, but once you compare the design and quality of vintage with an inferior look alike, you'll be sold on vintage forever...trust me! I think most reproductions look like something made from cheap fabric in a sewing 101 class.
I try to sell things that I would personally wear, that are generally flattering and that are in clean, good, wearable condition. Some flaws are forgiveable and to be expected on an item that has been previously loved, but they shouldn't jump out at you. I try my best to photograph any flaws noted.
