Me--a little pit-stop before going to see Ratatat!

Greetings! I know buying and selling on eBay can sometimes be a little intimidating. As you can see, I'm not exactly a 'power seller/buyer', just a handful of transactions so far. But in the interest of bringing down the walls of anonymity which can sometimes make eBay feel a little shady, I just wanted to write a little about myself.
I'm a displaced Southerner, originally from Alabama, but a resident of Brooklyn, NY since late 2001. I've got my sights set on moving back South some day soon, though... I'm a bit of a technology geek, which is why the majority of my eBay transactions are computer or electronics related. Recently I was struck by the entrepreneurial spirit to buy computers that people were unable to fix, take a go at it myself, and re-sell any successful repairs--or, if unlucky, pass the project parts on to someone else.
I'm just as vulnerable to the lack of details in an eBay auction as the next guy, and I have to say that there are a lot of folks out there using "less is more" as a mantra when it comes to providing info about their computers (etc.) for sale. Well, feel free to ask me any questions you might have. I'm an honest, good person, and I don't believe in jerking anyone around. I'm just trying to make a little extra money, because this economic meltdown has already cut my work income by 20%! Thanks for stopping by, and hopefully, stopping to buy...
