Music is one of the most powerful forces in society. Hitler knew it, and so did King David. If you love music in it's many forms, you're welcome here. My favorite music ? Far too much to list all of it here, but let's start with the "old skool" stuff : The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Joni Mitchell, The Doors, The Guess Who, Miles Davis, Deep Purple, Rush, Grand Funk Railroad, Jaco Pastorius, Bruce Springsteen, Tommy Bolin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, John Coltrane, The Who, Stevie Ray Vaughan, CSN&Y, B.B. King, Allman Brothers, Freddie King, Eric Clapton/Cream, Thelonius Monk, Jethro Tull, Chicago/CTA, Tom Petty, Crowded House/Split Enz and many more. I love a lot of newer bands, too most notably Pearl Jam ( I need more of those official bootlegs, if ya got 'em ) The Hold Steady, Alice In Chains, Velvet Revolver, Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Oasis, Nirvana, Radiohead, Coldplay, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Fountains Of Wayne, Kings Of Leon and others. I enjoy talking to fans of my favorite bands, and I like playing with musicians who write their own material, but have similar influences.Who is this character ?
My name is Misha. I'm a happily married 50 year old musician & songwriter living in Texas, the best state in America. I'm a member of ASCAP and Screen Actors Guild, a licensed counselor and chaplain. I collect CD's, and have tons of vinyl in excellent condition I'd like to part with. My vinyl collection is primarily 60-70's rock, pop and folk. My tastes aren't terribly exotix, but I'm always interested in hearing new bands. I also have a garage full of posters from the late 70's-mid 80's, when I managed record stores. I must have a couple of hundred, again, in super condition. Let me know if I can interest you in buying some of them. I have taken excellent care of my records. The only ones in less than perfect shape are the few I've gotten used from other people; usually before they were available on CD. Some are 20-25 years old, and have been played once or twice. All my records are in plastic sleeves to protect the covers. I'm not a vinyl freak, I like CD's and MP3's and I really need the space these things take up.
