I am a retired medical transcriptionist who has used Dictaphone transcribers since 1990.  I have sold them on eBay since 1999.  They are great machines!

After sending a couple of my transcribers to Dictaphone for repair, I learned how to do the few repairs they needed, primarily replacing belts.  I obtained a source for Dictaphone parts, started repairing them myself, and began selling them on eBay.  I usually have three to four models of microcassette transcribers listed, about the same number of the standard or large tape size, and two different models of C-Phones.

I check the transcribers over very carefully for proper function, align the heads for the best sound, and clean them up to offer  nice-looking transcribers for sale.  I also offer a full 30-day repair, replace, or refund warranty to my customers.
