It's All About The Labs!!!

Sophie and me...my inspiration!!!!

I live with three Labrador Retrievers,  actually they let me share their space.  Getting a spot on the couch is an Olympic event in our household and so far the medals have all gone to them.

 

We are a pack and in our pack we all have our assigned chores.  Mine is to paint and theirs are to model.  When I come out with my digital camera they know they sit still or gaze “seductively” for me. 

 

Like writing, painting is doing what brings the emotion to the canvas and I have found that, in my love of dogs, especially the Lab.  I capture on canvas and masonite their movements,  their comedic qualities , and their incredible way of keeping guard with one eye open while they nap.

 

Each piece is an original and will not be duplicated.  Ebay has given me a world wide audience and I am thrilled to offer these pieces to you.

I grew up in Boston and convinced my parents to let me go to Art (Aht as we say in Boston) school.  As I say in my bio the biggest growth was after I graduated from Butera School of Art.  I have done outdoor shows in New England, New York and New Jersey and of course many in Florida where we live now. 

I traded a cute red VW convertible Cabrio for a huge green conversion van to travel about and became tired and lonely without my furry family and Roger. (oh ya..the cats...3) I still have the van,  great for the Labs, but have my eye on a cute red VW convertible again. Sophie loves sitting in the back. throwing her head back and letting the wind blow thru her ha....no..her ears!!!

I do commissions and paint other dogs as well.  What else about me...hmm...I smile alot, laugh at silly things and love meeting you all.  So feel free to email and say hi!!!
