SoundBrewer.com is a sound design company that was started to fill a void. There are companies that offer inexpensive sound CD's, but they were never very good. Either you had the $200-$2,000 to buy the good sample discs, or you were out of luck.
Not a big deal if you are independently wealthy, but for the rest of us there were no professional sample CD's that were affordable. SoundBrewer prices its sampled sounds so that they are available to all musicians and producers, even those who haven't made it to the big time. However, this is not to say that the quality is lower. We believe that we could easily charge what the other soundware companies do, but we choose not to.

Sample CD's on eBay
There are legitimate eBay sellers offering original sample CD's. However, please be aware that some are selling pirated sample CD's. Original sample CD's are expensive to produce. If a seller is selling a full sample CD of acoustic sounds for $7.99, there is a good chance that it is a pirated CD. There have been eBay sellers attempt to pirate SoundBrewer sample CD's. Please email piracy[at]soundbrewer.com to report any eBay seller selling pirated SoundBrewer sounds.
