My new, redesigned MKIII+ Chassis

I got my interest in electronics from my father who had a small radio repair business in the 1950s. What I enjoyed most was building all types of tubed radios and amplifiers. I was forever building things from Dynakit, Eico, Heathkit, Harmon Kardon Citation I, II, and III Audio Kits. (Man, do I wish I still had some of those kits today!)
Late in the 60s, I opened my own business and built custom guitar amps and covered wooden speaker cabinets. Eventually, this became a full time operation for me building speaker cabinets and power amplifiers for rock bands and disco. The products were good and sold throughout the U.S.
In the 80s, I took a new direction and started manufacturing power distribution for audio and lighting systems. All the metal manufacturing, electronic design, and assembly was done in-house and the products we made were among the best on the market. We even manufactured the Dynaco Series II Power Amp and Pre Amp chassis and cages.
I used to go to Hamfest / Computer shows before eBay to sell all my old audio items but, ended up coming back with a lot more than I started with. I ended up selling the audio stuff but coming back with computers cases, motherboards, hard drives, ram, and CPUs. It ended up a big swap of old of tube equipment for new computer stuff. I no longer build my own computers, I just buy the ready made ones.
I got started on eBay in February 2000 selling old audio equipment that I had stored for years. Unfortunately I had thrown out hundreds of NOS of tubes thinking that transistors would replace tube equipment and I would never need tubes any more. Old tube manuals, kit catalogs and reference materials had them all.
Now I am constantly looking for high quality items to sell at reasonable prices. That why providing items that I manufacture to restore or upgrade vintage equipment is a high priority for me. Making quality equipment perform as it did years ago with that sound only a true audiophile can appreciate is my goal. And making those unique items that make equipment look as great as when it was new is icing on the cake.
I enjoy reading questions and comments I receive through eBay and make it a point to respond quickly and thoroughly. We have over 2300 positive feedbacks and I want them to keep on coming
