TheRadioStore.net (ID: Soundzgud) is run by Pete Kovacs, a former full-time Computer Systems Analyst and e-Business Manager of Palstar, Inc, who is now working for Palstar as an e-Business consultant. theRadioStore.net was started in 2003 as an experiment to sell Palstar products on eBay. eBay has grown and so has theRadioStore.net, which is now nearing $80,000 in sales per year exclusively through eBay.
Our vision is simple: get Palstar amateur radio products to customers with 1) excellent service, 2) fastest shipping time possible within Palstar's "Just-in-Time" inventory system, 3) keep prices as low as possible. Together with our awesome customers we continue to be a successful "experiment." In 2007 Palstar acquired a 49% share ownership in theRadiostore.net, but it is owned and run by Pete Kovacs who is the step-son of Paul Hrivnak, CEO and head engineer of Palstar, Inc.
Also in 2007, Don Kessler, PhD, joined Palstar bringing his expertise in amplifier design and years of military service (air force pilot) to Palstar, Inc. In 2008 Palstar acquired Command Technologies (http://www.command1.com) and has now redesigned the complete line of Command amplifiers under the expertise of Don Kessler who recently completed his PhD work on amplifier systems. Some may say "Ham Radio" is a thing of the past, but we say it is just maturing into what the early visionaries of Amateur Radio first conceived it would be: personal wireless radio communication that connects radio operators around the globe.
Since 2003, we've shipped Palstar tuners, accessories, and now the Command line of Amplifiers around the globe to Japan, Germany, Italy, Korea, Australia, Norway, Switzerland, France, United Kingdom, Austria, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Singapore, and many, many other countries, as well as all over the USA and Canada.
