Hi Everyone,
I'm Betty and I have opened a store called Sparklin'Adornment here on E-Bay.
My husband passed away two years ago and I had to have surgery shortly after that. I was laid up for a while, so I started reading about gems, watching everything I could pertaining to gems, and I became so passionate about colored gems and jewelry that I started my own business. I did trade shows, fairs, flea markets, etc. I even make some of my own jewelry. (I buy the castings or settings and set the gems.)
I was encouraged by friends and family to take my business on-line, so-o-o, E-Bay, here I am.
I'm not a gemologist, goldsmith or silversmith, but I do have tools, equipment, and books to help me identify stones, etc. I even have a jeweler who will help me. I also absolutely trust my vendor.
If an item I sell is a CZ, I call it a CZ. If a stone is man-made, I state that. If something is gold plated or vermeil, I state that. I pride myself on honesty about my pieces. I want my customers to be happy with purchases from me, so I offer your money back if you are not satisfied with the item for any reason.
The extra income from Sparklin'Adornment is so helpful, but most of all I really enjoy what I'm doing. I'm having fun and I enjoy communicating with my customers.
