Greetings from the mountain foothills of Maine! We're nestled on the south side of Bald Head Mountain and in the heart of old apple country. Diverse wildlife abounds in the still undeveloped woodlands here, attracted to the surrounding babbling brooks and streams. Neighbors actually wave when they drive by, whether they know you or not (and they use all their fingers). Our land is sand and rock, so it's no surprise that the property is almost completely surrounded by stone walls both old and new. We're organic gardeners landscaping on zero budget but much ingenuity. The progress of our labors can be found at our home page The Crooked Wall Estate.

My journeys in merchanting t-shirts all began with a broken thumb a few years ago. My original market was the local SCA group. Ebay was at first intended to be our home improvement fund. I left my job of 13 years in the screenprinting industry in "the city" after a buyout in the spring of 2005. Truth be known, I don't miss that 1 hour minimum commute time one bit! Since this little slice of country paradise also comes with an unemployment rate about twice the national average, I've fallen back on Ebay as a means to help pay the bills. I pride myself in making sure that all my customers are happy with their purchases. Since we only live 1 mile from the post office and recycle packing materials whenever possible, I do not attach any handling charges unless special packaging was purchased. I know quite a few sellers add to their freight, but I do not choose to do business that way!
I am a self-taught sewer, embroiderer and graphic artist. Often items I offer will contain recycled clothing or salvaged scraps from friends and family. You never know, that silk bag lining might once have been a shirt!
