I just want to say something about a recent negative feedback left for me. A buyer complained that she didn't realize the boxes of cream she bid on were trial size and because I didn't note they were trial size she wanted a full refund of her money. The first line of auction description actually states she would receive "NEW case of 36 .33 FL OZ tubes of Mustela Stretch Mark Double Action Cream". How much clearer can you get? 36 .33 oz tubes???? That is exactly what she got. I didn't state they were full OR trial size. Just the size listed on each box. The photo is the ACTUAL box shipped to her. Anyway when she complained I explained even though I felt I had done everything correctly she was unhappy and I was willing to refund her partially to the amount of the third highest bidder at auction close (the second closest was within a dollar or so). She would get about $13 back. She responded with threats and insults and said only a full refund would do. I said no. She filed a complaint through PayPal claiming I inaccurately listed the auction. PayPal reviewed the claim and sided with ME and refused to refund her as well. She then left me negative feedback and insulting emails. All of my correspondence even when she was rude was professional. I have saved them as well as a screen shot of the auction when it stops being linked. I could have fully refunded her and saved myself the negative. But you know what? I tried to be fair. And if I refunded her the money completely because of fear of negative feedback then what does that say about the eBay feedback system?
About Us I have been an ebay buyer and seller for over 7 years. Originally, I began selling miscellaneous household and computer goods that we no longer needed. As time passed, I began to occasionally purchase lots or wholesale groups of items to sell to make some extra money for my family. In the past year, I have expanded my scope of items offered for sale. Many items (but not ALL items) come from liquidation sales. These items are often brand new just as you would find in any retail establishment. Some items are open box/used/damaged. I work hard to inspect each item for sale and describe it's condition so you know exactly what you are bidding on. Liquidated items often come from store closings, overstock items, and returns. I start most auctions at 99 cents because I find it encourages more bidding. I am able to offer items at low prices because I acquire them in lots/pallets. Payment Information I accept PAYPAL ONLY for my auction items. Sorry - no money orders, checks or other forms of mailed payments due to problems in the past. Please do not email me to ask me to make an exception and take your money order. I don't take them - I am sorry for the inconvenience. Follow the eBay checkout instructions and contact me if there are any problems/questions.
All buyers are expected to contact me within 3 days of auction end. Payment must be received within 5 days of auction end unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
Shipping Information NO International Buyers Please! I cannot easily ship internationally (instead of completing shipping online for pickup I have to go stand in a long line at the post office), thus I can't ship internationally. Please do not email me asking me to make an exception. The only suggestion I have for you is to find a friend in the U.S. to ship the item to who can then ship it to you.
Your item will ship once payment has been received in full. Enter your zip code below to calculate exact shipping costs/methods. I am not responsible for damages that occur in the mail - purchase insurance on items of a fragile nature and keep all packing materials until you are positive the item was not damaged during shipping. If your item arrives damaged, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the post office.
I will combine shipping. I will combine shipping on items you win within 7 days of each other IF you contact me to let me know you are waiting to pay for all items together when they end. Please request a revised invoice at end of auctions using the eBay checkout system and I will submit back to you the revised invoice with combined shipping on all items. Shipping methods will remain the same as stated in the individual auction (most items ship priority mail).
Most items are shipping via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation through the United States Postal Service. Occasionally I ship an item Media Mail if Media Mail requirements are met.
There is NO local pickup. The Internet can unfortunately be a scary place and I have a family. I do not wish to have strangers picking up items from my home or meeting someone to make a sale. All items must be shipped.
Finally, I do not attempt to make money on shipping/handling charges. I charge a $1.00 handling fee on most items. The fee covers packing material. Your rate is based on actual USPS charges for shipping to your zip code plus the $1.00 handling fee to cover packing materials.
Return Policy I make every effort to test items and inspect for any defects, and I try to be an honest and fair seller as I am also an eBay buyer and expect that from auctions I bid on. Most auction sales are FINAL.
As I am only human and have children underfoot, I occasionally make a mistake either in listing or shipping. The following reasons are appropriate for a return or exchange:
- Your item is NOT what you bid on (i.e. you bid on typeA brand perfume and received typeB brand perfume).
- Your electronic item arrived DOA (dead on arrival) and was described as being in good working condition.
- Your item was described as BRAND NEW and SEALED and the item is clearly not sealed and brand new. PLEASE NOTE I won't take returns for items that are described as NEW but not sealed and you complain because the "box is dusty" or "the label is faded". If an item is not sealed, there may be cosmetic issues with the packaging. The actual goods are in new condition. Please do not argue with me over packaging as again, lqiuidated items sometimes are liquidated because the packaging is not in perfect condition. Again, I do my best to describe the packaging as well as the goods if indeed the box is dented, etc. so you are aware
PLEASE read the auction description in it's entirety for a description of the item you are getting. I make every effort to give an accurate description and origin of the item.
You have THREE days from package arrival to contact me about any problems with your item. Please open and inspect your item promptly. Please keep in mind that I am not a Big Box Retail Store or a Large Business by any means - I can't accept returns for EVERY reason. I do not take returns in the case of buyer remorse; buyer didn't like the item in general; buyer needs the money for something else; etc.
I also prefer that buyers be professional and courteous when they notify me of a problem. Please remember I have been on ebay a long time. I am not a scam artist, mean person, or large company by any means. I will listen to your complaint and do what I feel is right in the situation. But I also have been on ebay a long time and though I like my good feedback I won't be threatened into a refund for inappropriate reasoning.
Feedback Positive feedback is left for buyers automatically once positive feedback is received. I do not leave feedback until an item is received by the buyer and feedback is left because that to me is considered a "complete transaction". I appreciate the opportunity to work with a buyer if he/she feels they have had a less than positive experience.
