I live here in Cullman, Alabama, my home is tiny, but with plenty of property to propagate almost anything. Having lived here since 2007, I have found it beneficial to just shove a  million stems in the ground, and just a few root, but that is so satisfying.

There are things that grow here like weeds, which don't above the Bible Belt, such as Chinese Privet hedges (both solid green and verigated). They grow like grass here, and nut trees are abundant, even an Osage Orange or two, which is suppose to come from other places, such as Texas.  However, it has been cultivated and grows in various places, even the the North. 

Growing things is so impowering.  Somehow managing to light the spark the shoot needs to morph itself into another whole plant.  It is such a Grace to do this, and share the successes with others.  It is like a chain spark that ignites each time another person puts their hands on it, by nurturing each root into another living replication of itself.  How the little atoms and cells know what to do, is beyond me.

For this reason I love to promote gardening, and exchange of any new growth discoveries with everyone.

My way is deleriously inexpensive, holistic, for the poor in wallet, and huge in heart.  My style is, "creating something from nothing".
