Spiritual Resources for You Ultimate Deceit of the Human Race Our Shaman I grew up in a small town in central Indiana, spoon fed everything that I thought and believed in from a child up.  From as young as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a winner.  That led me to believe in Christ and accept Him as my personal savior as I was taught that I would lose my soul, my peace, my joy and everything that meant anything if I had not. This came so very very easy for me. I loved my Christian religion and NEVER had a clue that there might have been errors in my belief system. One day, I had decided to study black history, which would change the course of my life forever.  In learning the truth, I found that our pastors would not teach us everything in the Bible!!!  As a matter of fact they spiteful with held information that they held themselves privilege to know and NEVER taught the masses.  I remembered begging my pastor to teach me about the origin of the church so that I could stand on solid ground when debating any nonbeliever.  He forever put me off and died and passed on refusing to teach this knowledge to me.  Now that I know the origins of the early church I understand why my pastor refused to teach this information to me.  If one truly wishes to know the truth he or she must understand the origins of his or her beliefs.  Also, he or she must be willing to put his beliefs up on the shelf to see if they can stand the test of comparing knowledge that is contrary to his/her own belief.   Human nature makes it next to impossible for one to place his/her concepts up on the shelf and examine fresh and new ideas in sincerity after all it's like admitting that you never knew what you knew that you knew.  The unfortunate fact remains, DECEIT requires that the person who is being deceived has absolutely no knowledge of the fact that he or she is deceived.  It's a catch 22.  The moment one suspects that something is not right he is no longer deceived.  Therefore in order to know that you have not been deceived in your belief you must take the theory against your belief and TRY TO PROVE IT TRUE.  For example, if you believe that the world is round, to prove that it is not flat.  Try to prove that it is flat.  If you can not no matter how hard your try to prove that the world is flat, then you know beyond all shadow of a doubt that you have not been deceived by stating that the world is not flat.  Likewise with the Bible, take information contrary to your belief and PROVE IT TRUE, REALLY TRY TO PROVE IT TRUE!  If you can not prove that it is true and have tried your utmost to prove it true then you know that you have not been deceived.  Favorite Links Spiritual Resources Listings To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names.
