Back to previous page  SPRINGIGO's About Me Page The huge old barn on the farm. Hi fellow ebay enthusiasts! Welcome to my About Me Page. I live near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. I am married to a great guy and we have three great kids. Our daughter has just graduated from Roanoke College, one son has had two years of college, and one son will start college this fall. I know first-hand that college is NOT cheap! I worked at a local textile factory for 26 years before it closed about three years ago. Since then I have obtained a degree in Small Business Management Specialization. I had planned to open a small bakery; with the economy as it is, now is not the right time to put this plan into action. Just one glance in one of the stalls in the barn. I have always enjoyed looking for unique things on ebay. About six years ago my husband and I bought a small farm nearby. On this farm stands an old house, barn, and several outbuildings. This farm had previously been owned by a man who used to run an antiques/junk store downtown. All of these buildings were crammed full of everything, everywhere. Seriously, the majority of all this was/is trash (no one had lived there for over 20 years.) HOWEVER, I have been able to salvage some pretty cool stuff. These items as well as things from my parents' estate and things I have collected over 40+ years, are what I hope to list on ebay in the coming months. Thanks for visiting my page!
