Welcome to ssdesigns!

 Thank you for visiting my site! I attempt to please a wide variety of tastes with my line of "Tiny Treasures" doll clothing.

I don't work. I play ALL DAY LONG!

 It's funny, but I don't feel that what I do falls under the category of WORK, at least in the traditional sense. I have been stitching since the age of nine with only a short break taken to earn a degree in Special Education, and to teach for a bit, I have enjoyed the creative process inherent in taking a piece of fabric, a bit of trim, and a good deal of imagination, and turning it into a piece of "wearable art" for one of the "little people!" (In this case, approx. 10 inches tall!). I was very pleased, a couple of years ago, to have one of my creations featured on the "Collectible Treasures" program on HGTV. Through AntieClare's Doll Shop and Hospital, I was commissioned to create a reproduction of host Sharon Anderson's wedding ensemble for a doll which bore a very strong resemblance to her! What fun that was, for I recalled viewing their wedding video on the local program they hosted in the Twin Cities a while back! Yes, I'm lucky - I'm able to "play" all day long!
