We live in the beautiful state of Tennessee, The SouthEast Region at the foothills of  The Starr Mountains.. I love  all the Colors that The Mountains and Nature have to display.. Each Season is so beautiful, I love to work out in my flowers and in the garden in the Spring Time.  Summer time is just as beautiful..! I love Fall as well.. the cool air moves back into the Mountains, and I love to get out and see all the changing colors of the leaves..  We really love attending all the Fall Festivals, with the Autumn Gold Festival in Coker Creek, Tn being one of our Favorites.

   I have been married to my best friend (Jason) for 12 years now, and have two beautiful children, Autumn who is 10 years old and Hunter who is 7 years old.  I stay at home and Home School them,  It is a  blessing to be home with them everyday . My husband works for a company called JM Huber, which is also located right at the bottom of Starr Mountains.  The company makes a powder substance that is in foods as well as toothpastes..  

 I love to visit all of the local Antique Shops, and hope that God willing, I can one day open my own Primitive/Antique store here in my small town. My hobbies are Ebay, Gardening, Cooking, Crafting and Sewing has been my passion for the past 3 years, God has really blessed me and I have enjoyed discovering my tallent that he gave me..  I absolutely love PRIMITIVES..  and I find myself being inspired by the things that my Great Grandparents would have used as a part of everyday life.  It is amazing how much we take for granted..

 I also love the history of where I live and the heritage of  the mountains around us.. Click on the link below to read the history of Starr Mountains, and of the surrounding areas.. There are some very interesting facts on this website.

  I hand make Pillows, Dolls, Ornies, MakeDos, Handtowels, Prairie Dresses for display, Stitcheries/Samplers, Dried Orange Rag Garlands, Hangtags, and just about any other thing that my heart desires.... I also print (country/primitive graphics or vintage postcards) on fabric to make ornies, customized pillows and pictures etc...    

 My husband's hobbies are Deer Hunting, wood working, fishing and old cars .. He makes signs/Shutters/furniture/jelly cupboards  from old barnwood and from aged pine wood.. He also makes Hand Carved Hiking/walking Sticks from small vine twisted trees that he collects during his hunting trips or our trips out in the woods. He sells them locally, and I list them on Ebay as well... As for the shutters, he makes them with different themed cutouts in the center of them... Here are some of the cutouts that we have done...Sheep, Crow, Rooster, Pear, Apple, Saltbox house, Star, Goat, Pine Tree, Bear, Cowboy Boot, Candle Lamp.... I will tell him what I want cutout in the design and he justs sits down and draws it.. He is such a great artist.  I have a set on each side of my Antique window That I have displayed on the wall... but you could display them in many different ways..  I have pictured on this page a set of custom interior shutters that he made me with star cutouts.. I painted them an antique white and distressed them.. they close with a rusty latch, and I added some dried orange rag garland to dress them up a bit.. Also pictured is one of my Annie dolls that I make.. All of my items are made from my own patterns.. This Annie is holding a a little sheep that I stitched "Lamb of God" on..  Hope this gives you an idea of the custom orders that we can do, and we welcome you to inquire  about anything!
