Hello! My name is Gwynn Farrington, also know as Starrydance, and Im a fantasy artist! Im 27 years old and live in McKinney, TX. Living in a house with my husband, two cats (Gambit and Pandora), and my Aussie (Kupo!) we have a wonderful time balancing art, music, playtime, teatime, cookings, friends, and laughter. Actually, I went to school for 3D animation at Collin Community College. I graduated, with Honors, in May of 2005 and have since then fallen completely in love with fantasy art and illustration. I now paint in my own room, painted in sparkling purples and glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and illustrate the world of faery, magic, and gods and goddess, fantastic creatures and the glories of the natural world.

Why Starrydance? Well, its a name I came up with in my Role-playing-games ramblings. However - soon everyone was calling me Starrydance, or Starry! Even my parents call me that. I go to conventions with my name, my studio name, and somehow they find out my nickname and thats what they all use! So I figured if thats what everyone was going to remember and call me, I might as well go with it! ^-^ But what does it "really mean"? Im not sure - Ive always loved stars, and dancing as well. It was one of those names that while staring at the blank "Name" slot for a character it bounced into my head. And its stuck in there since!
