This is where you physically have to go to the company and give them your money and I have to do the same here to retrieve your payment.

 

1.       Checks from the U.S. are no problem, but they are subject to a 20-business day clearance period, from date of deposit.

Canadian laws and banking policies are governed within this country. There is no Canadian law known as the "mid-night deadline rule” and therefore I must follow the rules as outlined by all Canadian financial institutions. [**PLEASE NOTE** After sending out an item to a eBay member with high feedback rating in good faith, Prior to check clearing, only to have the check returned N.S.F. and incurring a fee from my bank. I have to stick by my rules and will NOT under any circumstances send an item out prior to full check clearance time.]

 

If you do not want to wait the 20 BUSINESS DAY clearance time;

I do offer 5 alternative methods of payment.

 

2.   If sending a money order, be sure it is cashable in Canada. The United States Post Office has two different kinds – you must make sure they sell you an INTERNATIONAL one. [NOT the GREEN one, it is the PINK ~ ORANGE one that you need to get.] The ones from 7-11, Cumberland Stores, Western Union, in fact, a whole variety are fine. Just be aware of the ones from the U.S. Post Office.

 

 

3.      Some people prefer to deal with cash. This is fine, but please ensure that you hide the bills within the envelope. I cannot be responsible for lost funds. [**PLEASE NOTE** Enclose the correct amount, as I package your item upon conformation of your address and I will not un-rap and re-rap the package to insert change.

 

4.     PayPal - I ship within 3 business days, (usually within 24 hours,) upon receipt of PayPal notifying me. ***** PLEASE NOTE ***** Paypal will only pay in my country’s currency and adds a surcharge. As per ebay Listing Policies; “Payment surcharges: Sellers may choose to accept payment in a different currency than the currency listed on eBay. If the buyer chooses to take advantage of this optional payment method, the seller may pass along to the buyer any costs associated with the currency exchange, provided that the costs are disclosed and agreed to in advance by the buyer.”

The cost associated with PayPal; Within North America $1.00 if the total, including shipping is under $20.00 $2.00 if the total, including shipping is over $20.00 & under $50.00 5% if the total, including shipping is over $50.00 Outside North America 3.00 if the total, including shipping is under $50.00 5% if the total, including shipping is over $50.00

 

5.    Outside North America: I only accept PayPal (AIR MAIL SHIPPING ONLY WITH PAYPAL), cash, Western Union & MoneyGram Transfers. Please see the provisions above.

 

 

·         I offer insurance with the vast majority of all worldwide transactions. If insurance is not opted for, I will not be responsible for lost or damaged items. I do my very utmost to package every item so there is no damage, but what happens after the package leaves my hands I cannot guarantee. For the countries that are not insurable, I offer other secure options, as registered, and express. Please see my feedbacks. I always comment on the item purchased under the buyer’s feedback, as well as the country if outside North America.

·         There is no book / media rate from Canada. I list books that are antique, collectable & desirable. I charge the rates from the post office plus the $1.50 fee for materials mentioned below.

·         A $1.50U.S.D. handling fee is applicable on all orders to help with the costs for strong boxes, bubble wrap, bubble envelopes, etc. This fee is included as part of the shipping cost in my conformation email.

·         I never reimburse postage.

·         You MUST email me your mailing information within the first three days. This is imperative. I need your address sent to me by email so that I can package your item and have it ready to go. It also keeps me organized as I have stepped up the amount of sales since I started eBaying.

·         I would greatly appreciate the item number with payment and your user name. When dealing in volume, it helps me to track your item.

·         Please email me if you have any questions about the item that you are interested in or if you have any concerns about the rules as stated above. I will do my best to make each and every transaction as smooth as possible.

·         Please scan my feedbacks, as some items I sell might be a duplicate item as the one you are about to bid on, and you can get other buyers opinion an a particular item.

·         My goal is to be as descriptive as possible. I am not a collector; therefore I do not profess to be an expert on the items I sell. However, with selling antiques & collectables, some things I see as 'normal aging', someone else may see as a flaw. It is not possible to point out every detail on every item. I will supply several good pictures and as vivid a description as possible. I do my best to describe any/all flaws I find with the items. Please see my feedbacks. Although all items are checked over before being listed, all items are sold on an "as is"/"where is" basis....

·         PRICES FOR SHIPPING LP RECORDS: Shipping from Canada is regulated by weight. The price differs if less than 500 grams and from 500 grams to 1Kg. Each weight category has the option of surface mail or airmail to the USA or overseas. Shipping within Canada is by expedited post.

·         I can ship most, but not all single LPs in the first category noted below. Insurance, if taken, is only for loss, not damage. If you bid/win more than one lp or a double lp, the shipping is in the heavier category; some single albums with gatefold jackets could also end up in the heavier catagory. If you live overseas, I will only ship by airmail when paying PayPal. IF you decide on surface and send payment through the postal system, it is to be totally understood that the shipping time is greatly increased, (sometimes over 4 months!) I cannot be held responsible for postal times; I do not run the post offices. I do ship very promptly, usually within 24 hours of payment.

·         The following are the postal rates for shipping LPs, which include $1.50 handling.

·         USA: [under 500 grams] Airmail: $10.05 and Surface mail: $8.70 [over 500 grams] Airmail: $14.75 and Surface mail: $12.20. Please write for shipping rates; On double, gatefold and multiple album auctions.

·         OVERSEAS: PLEASE FORWARD COUNTRY for a correct quote. *******For ITALY & TURKEY: As noted in my auctions, I usually do not ship to Italy due to Italian customs taking 2 months to clear an item. I can ship if you send Money gram, or Western union or Western Union money order or cash... NO PayPal.

·         CANADA: Shipping is by expedited post and must be determined at the post office after the auction is over. It is (as the other options noted above,) the exact quote from the post office plus the handling of $1.50 USD
