SteepWorld People My latest Priorities! Hi and thanx for checking out my reality rather than just the goods we sell. We run a small shop and climbing gym in Billings Montana that opened in February of 2005. We specialize in all things climbing but also carry products for, and promote: Disc Golf and Power Kiting. What can we say we just like to play!! The combined experience of the small SteepWorld staff is rivaled only by the best shops in the nation. I (Jim) have been climbing for more than 20 years. Growing up in Gillette Wy I adopted Devils Tower as my home haunt, cumulatively spending to date well over a year of my life climbing on that rock alone. I started teaching others how to climb shortly after beginning climbing and lost track somewhere around a thousand students. I worked at another shop in Billings for 11.5 years as the outdoor equipment buyer. In this capacity I learned a lot about all the different stuff out there. Chris is the manager at the shop is 14 years my junior but only by the calander. He started climbing much younger than I and now boasts 15 years of climbing (over half of his life).
