IN THE 'OLDEN DAYS'... I AM THE SHY ONE IN THE CORNER

Born in the Appalachia of western Pennsylvania, my art is influenced by my early years in the "big woods". Having lived in 8 states, Mexico, Venezuela and now Oklahoma, I have left behind works on wood, stone, metal, cloth, paper, canvas and yes even toilet tissue! So look around, 'cause you could own a Lynn StewArt original!
My mother, a 92 yr. old Pennsylvania Dutch spit fire, has instilled within me the love of God and His created earth. My wandering and creative spirit is inherited from my father who had the "eye & heart of an artist".
I believe that life itself is art, composed of all senses within a whole space. The created boundaries of movement and color within one's imagination is part of that art.
As a caregiver to my husband, who has Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, I begin my paintings in the wee hours of the morning. This is my quiet time. The time that the Lord leads my heart and guides my hand.
I am grateful for the opportunity to offer to you what I love to create. A BIG THANKS to all who have purchased my work!
