Sunrise Trail Hobbies, Ltd. looks forward to meeting all our clients at our shop in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York. We have a large selection of scale model railroading items. We also carry some model railroading and prototype railroad magazines. If we do not carry it, and you want it we will try to get it for the shop.
Our Shop Is Located At: 34 Hempstead Turnpike, New York; Long Island. We are right under Dunkin Donuts and Long Island Atletics. Park in the back parking lot and look for the green door and enter. If lost call (516) 752-0636 for directions. We also are in the process of building a large 'HO' scale layout. The room size is 50' x 30'.
Store Hours Are: Friday 6 PM to 8 PM and Saturday 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed every other day. Every third Friday of the month is club run night. We start right after the store closes and continues until the last member is standing. Usually around mid-night. All are welcome to this. Not really suitable for small childern.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFO!
We automatically ship multiple auctions ending on the same day together in order to save on shipping charges to you. But the shipping charges will include handling. So the price for shipping multiple items is not the same as for one item. We can now only accept Paypal as per eBay orders. However, due to the volume of our business and the potential for errors we CAN NO LONGER hold items for shipping while other auctions end! Also, when emailing questions about an item please be sure to identify the item clearly so that we can answer you as quickly as possible! Please, don't wait until the last minute to email us with a question about an item up for auction, we don't want to miss your question!! ( Any email received after 5 PM will be answered on the following business day. Sometimes we need time to get your answer so, please be patient, we are not ignoring you! Also, keep in mind that sometimes eBay does not send us end of auctions until well after you are notified as high bidder. We don't know why this is but, it is. We notify all high bidders as soon as eBay notifies us but not before in order to avoid problems. End of auctions received after 5 PM on Fridays will be answered on Monday. )
Shipping is done via the United States Post Office Priority Mail ONLY. We do charge our customers for handling or packing materials. Nominal.
New York residence must also add appropriate sales tax. We will not ship unless this is added. We only collect sales tax, we do not charge it.
