I have made my living with soapstone since 1972......i have developed Carpel Tunnel over the years so i started putting together soapstone carving kits and doing school presentations to give my hands a break.......giving the first time carvers projects they can finish and stay interested in is my goal with my kits ,  when i first started going to schools with my kits i could see some students losing interest because the projects were taking to long and they were losing interest and not seeing results quick enough , the thickness of my patterns for my carving kits are  appr. 1/2" ......most  students finish in a 1 hours class and all others see enough progress to want to continue on their own , carving soapstone is excellant for self-esteem ,    i have seen many kids "walk taller" after completing their first carving and usually want to do another.      I have made my living selling my crafts and crafts supplies at powwows through out the 4 western states for all these years and now i want to stay home more so i joined this internet world ........please read the wonderful "testamonials" on my web:  www.mp-soapstone.com  then come back to ebay to buy or ask questions............to my customers and friends who have wondered what happen to my old web-site : mountainpipes.com .....some hacker jerk from Australia stole my web name in april 2007 ,  he has put up a dummy sheet that still says Mountainpipes Soapstone Crafts but it is now a referral to porn sites ...i apoligize to all the thousands of kids/people who have my business card  with the old website  and  have ended up at this site and have wondered what happen to me.....i think about flying to australia to "touch" this jerk in person but i will have to settle for KARMA to come back on them.............i am a small business and i always take the time to make sure i only send you good stone.............please contact me for all your carving needs............................vincent FeedBacks User:d.mcgirt( 147)  Date:Nov-20-09 21:32:44 PST Praise: Thanks!Quick shipment!!
