Where does your merchandise come from?
We have many great sources. Our buyers have developed some amazing
relationships with many of today's leading retailers, department &
specialty stores, manufactures and product distributors. These
sources unload their overstock and closeouts at a fraction of what
they paid for it - in order to make room for new merchandise.
Is your merchandise all name brand?
A lot of it is, but not all. The name brands we do stock include
Calvin Klein®, Donna Karan®, Ralph Lauren®, Hotel Collection®,
Charter Club®, Waterford®, Champion®, Hanes®, Fruit of the Loom®,
Black & Decker®, Kitt-A-Mor®, Hamilton Beach®, Better Chef®,
Samsonite®, Blowfish™, Parker Brothers®, Milton Bradley®, Conair®,
Norelco®, Vidal Sassoon® and many others. In addition, we stock a
dazzling array of imported home accents, furnishings, decorative art
pieces, wall prints, vases, candles, handbags, luggage, shoes and
more, much more!
How are you able to sell your
merchandise at 40% - 70% off regular retail?
Think of how many traditional retailers, department & specialty
stores and manufactures that exist today, a lot right? Well each one
of them regularly has overstock and closeouts that they need to
unload in order to bring in new merchandise, and these sources
typically value the floor space that it takes to store the goods
more than the merchandise itself, as a result, they bulk sell the
goods at a fraction what they paid for it.
Why don't the traditional retailers,
department & specialty stores just sell their overstock and
closeouts in their own stores.
There are many interesting reasons why they do not choose to sell
their overstock and closeouts, but the main one is because these
retailers must continue to bring in new merchandise to keep up with
consumer demand. Additionally, the retailers pay top dollar per
square foot of retail space making it less cost effective to use the
space for deep discounted merchandise.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30 day return policy for merchandised that is returned
unused and in its original packaging. However, I would like to refer
you to our "Policy" section of this website for a complete
description of our return policy.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes. We continue to build relationships with Florists, Interior
Designers, Realtors, Apartment Managers, Event Planners and E-Bayers.
We extend discounts to customers purchasing in volume or on frequent
bases. Please contact the store manager at 1-888-891-8585 for
further details regarding volume discounts.
Does The Closeout Store™ have a
Lay-A-Way Program?
Unfortunately we do not, we created our business around the premise
that we will rotate our inventory as quickly as possible so that our
return customers always have new treasures to explore no matter how
often they return and because much of our inventory is based upon
availability, the tracking and storage of such a program is too
costly.
Does your store always carry the same
merchandise?
Not necessary the same merchandise, but the same type of
merchandise. For instance, we will always stock Bedding & Bath,
Kitchen Accessories, Active Wear Apparel, Handbags, Shoes, Luggage,
Rugs, Sporting Goods, Toys, Silk Plants, Picture Frames, Beautiful
Home Accents & Furnishings, Candles and Hair and Body Care products,
but the brand names may very based on our buyers finding only the
best first quality merchandise, that we know you will love, at huge
savings.
How often do you get shipments?
We receive new shipments every couple of days, however, our
warehouse is stocked with merchandise that our buyers have purchased
in advance of need just because they found extraordinary values that
they could not pass up. And our merchandise is displayed the second
a free shelf is available. Our store is [neatly] jammed packed we
exciting treasures at unbeatable low prices; you'll have plenty to
look at. Stop on by!
Do you have other locations?
We opened our first location in December of 2005. We have had such
great success in our first year that we are currently looking
forward to bringing "This Ultimate Shopping Experience" to other
neighborhoods in Southern California.
