Christina's Strawberry Patch

Hi There!  My name is Christina and I am the owner of The Strawberry Patch website and Yahoo! Group (the largest Yahoo! Group dedicated to Strawberry Shortcake!) as well as The Strawberry Convention website and Yahoo! Group. 

 

I organized the First ever Strawberry Convention dedicated to Strawberry Shortcake in 2003 here in Cleveland, OH.  It has now become an annual event with five SSC Conventions so far!  I hope you'll consider joining us for this BERRY SPECIAL DAY...after all it's not everyday you get to meet the American Greetings and Playmates Team behind Strawberry Shortcake as well as The artists who draw Strawberry and all her wonderful friends!!  Strawberry herself even stops by for a visit!  www.strawberryconvention.com

While only owning one Strawberry Shortcake Doll as a child, I definitely wanted more and can remember asking for Lemon, Raspberry, and AngelCake.  However according to my Mom, I was “too old” for dolls at the ripe old age of 12!  LOL!  Today I have an extensive Strawberry Shortcake collection that includes many rare and prototype pieces. 

 

When not tending The Strawberry Patch, I am busy chasing after my own little “Huck” aka my little boy or teaching Berry Talk to “The Purple Pieman”, aka my wonderful husband--who has portrayed The Pieman 5 years in a row at The Annual Strawberry Convention dedicated to Strawberry Shortcake.  I live in Cleveland, OH and am a nurse at a major hospital.
